Key Performance Indicators support a framework for strategic alignment between organisational critical success factors and quantifiable measurements for individual employees. This alignment helps ensure the organisation can manage and align specific Key Performance Indicators against business unit and individual employee performance objectives. Reporting by organisation unit and by person gives full visibility on who has set quantifiable measurements and who has documented critical success factors.

The system also enables more frequent reviews of performance objectives than is possible with manual systems. Instead of annual reviews, the software module supports half yearly or monthly review for quantifiable measurements. This means an organisation can monitor and make adjustments to its plans more frequently and improve visibility, coordination and communication across the organisation. Objectives which are created as Key Performance Indicators help to focus attention on employee performance, desired behaviours and desired outcomes against critical success factors. Staff goals are clear and agreed at each review, which reduces the time wasted by management firefighting employee performance management issues.
