A significant amount of unintended turnover is controllable through line
management identifying Employee Engagement issues by using an exit interview survey. Employee Initiated Turnover (EIT) represents one of the
single largest Human Capital costs for any employer. Estimates of controllable EIT are in the region
of 50% of the total Employee Initiated Turnover. The most
common reason why unintended turnover is not addressed with an active strategy
is the lack of an exit survey report provided to line managers, i.e. they
don’t have the right HR software to understand why staff leave and therefore there
are no actions to reduce EIT or to support more effective Workforce Planning.
PeopleStreme has developed an anonymous resignation survey module that can be added to existing modules or can be installed as a standalone
exit report module. The EIT module enables organisations to collect,
collate and report on termination survey statistics. Once the exit interview data is collated, active
strategies can be developed to reduce EIT.
