Our National Human Capital Management Survey results indicate that the number one national focus in HCM for the Local Government Sector over the course of the next 3 years is Workforce Planning.
We then see Performance Management and Learning & Development as 2nd and 3rd most important priorities nationally, with a focus on compliance, as well as retaining and developing staff.
Almost two thirds of HCM decisions lie with Human Resources. 69% of respondents indicating that the HR Director or Manager has the final say, with 31% of decisions made at C-Level.
